Dear Friends:

Ten years ago, the IHCC made a bold decision to elevate our impact by partnering with 1871, the premier tech incubator in the United States and around the world. Through this groundbreaking collaboration, we have proudly supported and helped develop hundreds of Latino-led startups. We’re especially proud that the majority of these companies are still operating successfully today, and several have gone on to raise millions in capital as they continue to grow.

As some of you may have heard, 1871 is leaving the Merchandise Mart later this month. For many years, this iconic space has also served as home to IHCC. Today, we’re excited to share that we, too, are embracing a new beginning.

Starting May 1st, the IHCC will move into our new office at 180 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 500, right on the Magnificent Mile.

This move represents more than just a change in address. It marks a new era of growth and opportunity for the IHCC and the communities we serve. We remain fully committed to our partnership with 1871 and will continue to drive the success of Latino-owned startups through our signature LTNtech incubator.

We’re also proud to share that all of our signature programs will continue to operate at full strength in our new space, including:

    • SBDC (Small Business Development Center)
    • APEX Accelerator
    • SBTRC (Small Business Transportation Resource Center)
    • Cook County Small Business Resource Source Program
    • Procurement Academy

For the first time, we’re working closely with several of our corporate partners—such as banking institutions, attorneys, and CPA firms—to establish a regular presence within our new office. This means offering on-the-spot technical assistance, transforming our new headquarters into a one-stop shop for business support.

And of course, we will continue to host the amazing events our community has come to love—powerful networking opportunities, impactful programs, our signature Day of the Dead Gala (October 30), and our Business Expo & Conference at Navy Pier (October 9). These moments bring us together to celebrate, collaborate, and push our mission forward.

With this next chapter, we are proud to say: The IHCC will become the center for Hispanic entrepreneurs—a hub where ideas, resources, and relationships come together to turn dreams into thriving businesses.

Thank you for being part of our journey. We look forward to welcoming you to our new home—and to continuing our mission of empowering Latino entrepreneurs to dream big and achieve even more.

Con orgullo y gratitud,

Jaime di Paulo
