Job Position
The Grant Manager is responsible for overall management of IHCC’s grant programs and works to ensure that IHCC meets deliverables, financial and reporting requirements for all of its grant-funded programs. The Grant Manager collaborates in the development of and is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of internal grant management policies and procedures. The Grant Manager collaborates with IHCC’s leadership, program directors and external stakeholders to ensure that IHCC is in full compliance with grant requirements including the submission of performance and financial reports in a seamless, timely manner. The Grant Manager has primary responsibility for grant budget tracking and oversight including invoicing for grant funds. The Grant Manager reports directly to IHCC’s Chief of Staff. Please note that this position is for 1 year, with the possibility of extension.
● Acquire detailed knowledge of grant agreements and develop a concrete timeline that details reporting and invoicing deadlines. Ensure that IHCC’s internal policies and procedures conform to grant requirements.
● Collaborate closely with key funding-agency stakeholders to ensure optimum grant management. Serve as IHCC’s representative in interaction with funding-agency grant managers.
● Gain intimate knowledge and effectively utilize reporting and invoicing systems available from each program’s funding agency.
● Collaborate with program directors and managers to compile and submit invoices for grant funds. Develop a schedule for the submission of invoices and a timeline that details and confirms the receipt of funds. Track grant funds reimbursement.
● Develop and maintain financial reports specific to each grant, track payment and balance of grant funds. Ensure that expenses reflect program budgets.
● Collaborate with the office manager to compile required verification of expenses and to ensure that financial activity for each grant is reflected accurately in the organization’s financial reports.
● Collaborate with program directors and managers to compile and submit required performance documentation and reports.
● Develop a process that ensures frequent, ongoing assessment of program performance toward grant goals and milestones. Consult with program directors and managers and support the development and implementation of procedures to address emerging or prospective challenges.

● Experience in the nonprofit sector and with government grants management.
● Experience in program management and as a liaison with key stakeholders.
● Advance experience with Excel.
● Excellent writing and communication skills.
● Excellent organizational and project management skills.
● Self-starter who is comfortable in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
● Flexibility and eagerness to learn and work on different tasks as needed.
● Strong willingness to connect and network.
● Must be available to work some nights and weekends for IHCC events or as necessary.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel
$60K-$63K (annually) depending on experience.

Job Position
The Project Coordinator of the USDOTs Great Lakes Region Small Business Transportation Resource Center (SBTRC) is primarily assigned to support the work and activities of the SBTRC Project Director (PD) and the SBTRC Executive Director (ED) with direct responsibility for meeting and exceeding program deliverables and expectations.

- Ability to prepare written reports, correspondence and recommendations; and ability to communicate effectively.
