Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
Resilient Communities Initiative

As small businesses face unexpected operational and economic challenges due to immigration enforcement activity and the fear affecting our communities, the IHCC Foundation launched the Resilient Communities Initiative (RCI) to provide immediate relief and long-term stability.

Rooted in a compassionate, holistic approach, RCI delivers direct financial assistance through microgrants, activates neighborhood economies through Shop Local campaigns, and provides critical educational resources to help entrepreneurs navigate uncertainty and build resilience. Because small businesses are the heart of our neighborhoods, this initiative is designed to help them remain strong, visible, and thriving.

There are many meaningful ways to support this work:

  • Donate to our microgrant fund

  • Participate in a Shop Local campaign

  • Support featured neighborhood businesses

  • Share vital resources with those who need them

Every action makes a difference. Together, we can uplift the businesses and families that sustain our communities.
