Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce®
The Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) is proud to extend an invitation to join us in celebration of our “30+1” Gala.
This year, we will celebrate our organization’s three decades of work in Chicago and throughout the state of Illinois. Furthermore, we will reflect on the challenges that 2020 represented for our business community. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we helped create and retain more than 18,092 jobs and assisted entrepreneurs in accessing financial resources to more than $88.1 million.
The “30+1” IHCC Gala will be hosted on September 30th, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. Your presence at our Gala will be an indication to our mission and values, supporting the idea that economic development, solidarity, and equal opportunity are the only way to make the dreams of our communities come true.
You know me personally and know our work. The IHCC’s programs and hard work have earned the respect of all those reputable business organizations. Nothing would make us prouder than to have your presence and participation on this special occasion for our business community and our city.
I am attaching the sponsorship levels for your consideration, and I will be following-up with you in the next day to answer any questions you may have and confirm your contribution.
IHCC conducted a sizable number of webinars and virtual training sessions on a regular basis for Latino business owners and entrepreneurs; including members of the organization and clients of the various programs that IHCC operates. IHCC has provided assistance to thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs in 2020, double the number that received assistance in 2019. The total number includes businesses receiving counseling, guidance and assistance with applications for financial assistance; as well as attendees of online training and information sessions
The number of jobs created and retained increased 42 times compared to 2019. This increment is mainly because of IHCC’s rapid response throughout its programs: Illinois SBDC, PTAC, SBTRC, Illinois Tollway Technical Assistance Program, the Cook County COVID-19: Small Business Assistance Program, and the team’s professionalism always willing to help.
The IHCC team delivered thousands of hours of actual contact with thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs including telephone calls and video conference counseling sessions. Contact time is captured through customer relationship management software and unique time-tracking systems.
IHCC’s assistance to small businesses to access financial resources increased by 315% from 2019 and totals $88.1M. This is the total dollar amount of contracts awarded; revenue growth, business loans from the Small Business Administration, private lenders, business grants, and
