This election will be one of the most historic elections at a time when our country is in distress among a pandemic and responses to social injustice.

Through Pew Research we know that Illinois is 1 of 4 states where the Latino population increased in years 2015-2019, while the overall state’s population declined during this time.

Latinos are expected for the first time to be the nation’s largest racial or ethnic minority in a U.S. presidential election, with a record 32 million projected to be eligible to vote. In addition, Latinos generally favor a more active government

We partnered with Illinois Hispanich Chamber of Commerce (IHCC) member, Magnolia Insights, to close voting gaps among Latinos by creating a campaign to remind the Hispanic communities in Illinois that their vote matters.

The campaign, Voto Latinx Illinois,  and give them tools about how and where to vote in Illinois.

Magnolia Insights developed a range of marketing elements to bring this campaign to life.

One central element is a :60 video featuring Lourdes Duarte of WGN Channel 9, IHCC team members and Latinx business owners in  Illinois.

The campaign also includes social media executions with campaign hashtag #VotoLatinxIL – all pointing to the dedicated website, www.votolatinxIL.com

This nonpartisan, bilingual campaign promotes the voices of Latinx communities and encourages them to use their voice to vote!
