Recently elected in 2023 to one of the highest-ranked government positions in Illinois, Giannoulias’ Administration is committed to transforming operations through modernization efforts, improving customer service, expanding online services, and reducing wait times — impacting the lives of nearly every Illinoian.
Michael Frerichs, Illinois State Treasurer:
Treasurer Frerichs was first elected as Illinois State Treasurer in 2014 and has been re-elected for his third term in 2023. He believes in empowering individuals to invest in themselves by providing them with financial tools. To achieve this, he encourages savings plans for college and trade school, promotes financial education for all ages, removes obstacles to a secure retirement, and reunites Illinois residents with their unclaimed property.

An award-winning entrepreneur and a Mexican immigrant, Rosa Santana will share her inspiring story of becoming one of the most successful businesswomen in the United States.
Ms. Santana has received numerous awards locally, regionally, and nationally, including the 2020 Minority Business Development Agency’s National Distinguished Supplier Diversity Award and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year® Award 2019 Central Texas. The government of Mexico also recognized Ms. Santana with the 2021 Mexicanos Distinguidos Award for her leadership and business trajectory. In addition, she was presented the 2023 Greater San Antonio Woman of the Year award by the Texas Diversity Council.
