The Illinois Tollway Building for Success Webinar Series highlights key Tollway programs and initiatives. Next up, is Schaumburg (M-5) Maintenance Facility Reconstruction Project.

This webinar will include an overview of Illinois Tollway maintenance facilities, the scope of work for contract RR-21-4587 for reconstruction of the Schaumburg (M-5) Maintenance facility and diversity programs available as resources to help firms bid on the contract and participate on the project.

The work under this contract consists of the construction of a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-Certified building, salt barn and fueling facility, as well as grading, pavement work, site work, erosion control, landscaping, drainage improvements, permanent pavement markings, exterior lighting and structure demolition.

Please note that this project has a 30% DBE goal and a 1.5% veteran goal. 

The webinar will include a question-and-answer session at the end and a link to an optional virtual networking session.

The networking session will provide an opportunity to introduce your company and meet other firms in attendance.

This webinar will be presented by Ed Flores, Illinois Tollway Executive Project Manager. 

This event is part of the Illinois Tollway’s efforts to increase the pool of firms participating in the 15-year, $14 billion Move Illinois capital program and is open to construction and professional engineering services firms, including disadvantaged, minority- and women-owned business enterprise (D/M/WBE) firms, as well as veteran-owned businesses.
