Jacob Pérez serves as a Director of the USDOT Small Business Transportation Resource Center for the Great Lakes Region at the IHCC.
For the past 20 years, Jacob Pérez has dedicated his professional career to working within the business, academic and non-profit world, from opening a charter school in post-Katrina New Orleans, to serving as an incubator for start-up non-profits.
Born and raised in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, Jacob earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, in Champaign-Urbana, and most recently, an M.B.A from Dominican University.
Most recently, he served as Outreach Director for UNAM Chicago, collaborating with local universities as well with community-based organizations. which included offering small business development courses for entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their business.
