Dear IHCC Community,
Here, once again, the Sueños Music Festival is a testament to the power and influence of Latinos. We have the numbers, and they will only continue to grow. This is just the beginning; now, we are moving into actually owning our power as Latinos.
Our beloved city of Chicago will host the highly anticipated music festival called Sueños. And we want as many Latino small businesses as possible to be at the epicenter of this cultural movement. Today, a high number of Latino vendors are an essential part, and we are going for more.
I am thrilled to announce that within just few days of ticket sales, the festival was completely SOLD OUT! This remarkable festival is a testament to the incredible impact that Latino culture has on our society.
In comparison to other music events, which often take months to reach their maximum capacity, Sueños stands out as a prime example of the immense popularity and appeal of Latino-driven initiatives. This achievement not only speaks to the talent and creativity showcased at the festival but also highlights the growing recognition and appreciation for Latino culture in our community.
It is undeniable that Latinos are the future of this great country. The contributions made by the Latino community in various sectors of our economy are evident in every metric. From entrepreneurship and innovation to arts and entertainment, Latinos continue to shape and enrich the fabric of our society.
The success of Sueños serves as a powerful reminder of the economic potential that lies within the Latino community. As a chamber of commerce dedicated to promoting and supporting Hispanic businesses, we have a unique opportunity to harness this potential and drive economic growth. By fostering an inclusive environment that values diversity and celebrates the rich Latino heritage, we can unlock new opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.
I encourage all members and supporters of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to continue embracing and championing the influence of Latino culture in our economy. Let us work together to create a future where every individual, regardless of their background, can thrive and contribute to our shared success.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to our mission.
Sincerely,
IHCC President & CEO, Jaime di Paulo
