Marisol Flores currently serves as the Illinois Tollway Technical Assistance Program Director and Administrator at the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC).
Marisol’s role is to educate, train and prepare small and diverse firms to compete for opportunities on the Tollway system; assisting them with coaching in the areas of work scope and capacity building, client engagement towards procurement opportunities, and bid activities.
She has also worked with the SBTRC Program at IHCC, where she prepared small businesses to compete for and enter into transportation-related contract opportunities.
In her past roles, she served as a Senior Event Coordinator, and has knowledge in the banking and insurance industry. Marisol came from a humble Mexican household and grew up most of her life in the south-west suburbs of Chicago. Her passion for business and creativity led her to pursue a Bachelors in Business Marketing from DePaul University.
In her free time, Marisol enjoys spending time with her family, painting, cooking, and baking.
