Elizeth Arguelles

Membership Coordinator

Elizeth Arguelles is the Membership Coordinator at the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (IHCC). In her role, she is responsible for managing the chamber’s membership growth and engagement. Elizeth works under the direct supervision of the Events & Membership Director and communicates with IHCC members to connect them with the opportunities available at the chamber.

Before joining IHCC, Elizeth had an extensive background in community organizing. She has worked with several non-profit organizations in Chicago to connect youth and their families with resources and leadership opportunities. Elizeth grew up in Little Village and knows the talents and struggles small businesses face. She has witnessed entrepreneurship closely; her mother owns three tamales vending carts in Little Village, and her father owns a pressure washing company.

Inspired by her parents’ resilience, Elizeth graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Dominican University. In 2020, she graduated as the top student in her major due to her unique insights and personal experience in the business world. During her free time, Elizeth enjoys playing soccer, thrifting, spending time with her niece and nephew, and enjoying nature.
